HDInvoice was designed and developed from the ground up to be as easy and intuitive to use as possible. However, I understand that you may still have some questions or need assistance. The best place to receive support for HDInvoice is the official WordPress page. I am usually able to reply to any support requests in less than 24 hours.

Can I delete an invoice or customer?

It is strongly encouraged to never delete an invoice, but to instead void the invoice. This helps keep the numbering system and statistics intact. You can void an invoice by first editing it, then selecting VOID INVOICE located in the header. You can also unvoid an invoice at anytime.

However, if you really need to delete an invoice altogether, then you can do so by accessing Tools, and then selecting the Admin CPT tool (Admin Custom Post Type). This will show you the actual wordpress admin area that houses invoice, similar to posts or pages. Admin Taxonomy is how you would view the customer admin area. These tools should be used with caution!

eCommerce - Getting my invoices paid!

The free version of HDInvoice will not include eCommerce capabilities, but a pro edition is currently being developed that will allow customers to pay their invoices using either Stripe or PayPal. More payment gateways will also be added at a later date.

What about sending quotes or estimates?

Soon, when creating a new invoice you will be able to change the invoice type to Proposal. Proposals will work similar to invoices, except they will strip away payment methods and information, and will not count towards the overall stats dashboard. Proposals will also be excluded from exports.
