Your Data, Your Control
As AI becomes central to web development and business operations, questions about data privacy are more important than ever. This announcement explains exactly how GoSiteMe handles your data when you use Alfred, GoCodeMe, and our AI-powered features.
What We Collect
When you interact with Alfred or use AI features, we process your prompts and inputs to generate responses. We store conversation history so you can review and continue previous chats. We also collect anonymous usage metrics — such as which models are most popular and average response times — to improve the platform.
What We Don't Do
- We do not train AI models on your data. Your prompts, code, and content are never used to train or fine-tune any AI model. This is a firm policy, not a default setting you need to opt out of.
- We do not sell your data. Your information is never shared with advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
- We do not store data longer than necessary. Conversation history is retained for 90 days by default. You can delete it at any time from your account settings, and deletion is immediate and permanent.
Encryption & Security
All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.3 and at rest using AES-256 encryption. API calls to AI providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta) are made through our secure proxy — your account credentials are never exposed to third-party APIs. Each provider's data processing agreement prohibits them from using API inputs for training.
Compliance
GoSiteMe is designed with GDPR, CCPA, and PIPEDA compliance in mind. Our infrastructure supports HIPAA-ready configurations for healthcare clients who need additional safeguards. Detailed compliance documentation is available in the Knowledge Base.
Your Controls
From your account settings, you can: delete conversation history, export your data, disable AI features entirely, and configure data retention periods. You are always in control.
