Email Marketing Campaigns with GoSiteMe

Email marketing remains one of the highest-ROI channels for businesses. GoSiteMe includes built-in email campaign tools that let you design, send, and track marketing emails without needing a separate service. This guide covers setting up and running effective campaigns.

Accessing Email Campaigns

  1. In your GoSiteMe Dashboard, go to Marketing → Email Campaigns.
  2. If this is your first time, you will be prompted to verify your sending domain and set up authentication (SPF, DKIM).

Building Your Email List

  • Signup forms: Create embeddable forms under Marketing → Forms. Place them on your website, landing pages, or blog.
  • Import contacts: Upload a CSV of existing subscribers. GoSiteMe validates email addresses and removes duplicates automatically.
  • Segmentation: Organize subscribers into segments (e.g., new customers, repeat buyers, newsletter-only) for targeted messaging.

Creating a Campaign

  1. Click New Campaign.
  2. Choose a campaign type: Newsletter, Promotional, Announcement, or Drip Sequence.
  3. Select a template or start from scratch with the drag-and-drop editor.
  4. Add content blocks: text, images, buttons, dividers, social media links, and product cards.
  5. Personalize with merge tags: {{first_name}}, {{company}}, {{last_purchase}}.
  6. Write a compelling subject line. Use Alfred for suggestions: "Alfred, suggest 5 subject lines for a spring sale email."
  7. Preview the email on desktop and mobile views.
  8. Select the recipient segment and schedule the send time.

A/B Testing

Test two versions of your email to optimize performance:

  • Split your audience automatically (e.g., 20% receive Version A, 20% receive Version B).
  • After a set time, the winning version is sent to the remaining 60%.
  • Test subject lines, sender names, content, or send times.

Tracking & Analytics

After sending, monitor these metrics in real time:

  • Open rate: Percentage of recipients who opened the email.
  • Click rate: Percentage who clicked a link.
  • Unsubscribe rate: Keep this below 0.5% for healthy list hygiene.
  • Bounce rate: Hard bounces are automatically removed from your list.
