Epistle of Barnabas 19
1
The Way of Light then is as follows. If anyone desireth to journey to the appointed place, let him be zealous in his works.
2
The knowledge therefore which is given to us whereby we may walk therein is as follows: Thou shalt love thy Maker; thou shalt fear Him that created thee; thou shalt glorify Him that redeemed thee from death.

Thou shalt be simple in heart, and rich in spirit. Thou shalt not cleave to those who walk in the way of death.
4
Thou shalt hate whatsoever is not pleasing to God. Thou shalt hate all hypocrisy. Thou shalt not forsake the commandments of the Lord.

Thou shalt not exalt thyself, but shalt be humble-minded in all things. Thou shalt not take glory to thyself.
6
Thou shalt not entertain evil counsel against thy neighbor. Thou shalt not give boldness to thy soul.
7
Thou shalt not commit fornication, thou shalt not commit adultery, thou shalt not corrupt boys. The word of God shall not go forth from thee where any are unclean.
8
Thou shalt not be a respecter of persons in reproving any one for a transgression. Thou shalt be meek, thou shalt be quiet, thou shalt be fearing the words which thou hast heard.
9
Thou shalt not bear a grudge against thy brother. Thou shalt not be in two minds whether it shall be or not.
10
Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord in vain. Thou shalt love thy neighbor more than thy own soul.
11
Thou shalt not murder a child by abortion, neither shalt thou kill it after it is born. Thou shalt not remove thy hand from thy son or thy daughter, but from their youth thou shalt teach them the fear of God.
12
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods; thou shalt not be grasping. Neither shalt thou cleave with thy soul to the lofty, but thou shalt walk with the humble and righteous.
